In LaTeX-related forums every now and then an interesting question related to chemistry typesetting pops up. Here is a list of the ones I found most interesting.
- chemfig | Custom Arrows in Reaction Schemes
- chemfig | Cram Bond Bases
- Draw Bohr atomic model with electron shells in TeX?
- Can you make chemical structure diagrams in LaTeX?
- chemfig and lego-style molecule construction
- problem with chemical structure numbering
- Oxidation/reduction arrows, overhead and below, with oxidation numbers also
- Molecular orbital diagrams in LaTeX?
- Unequal equilibrium arrows with overhead text
- Number mhchem reactions and create a [cce inline=”true” lang=”latex”]\listofreactions[/cce]
- Two arrows in a row in chemfig
Hello!
I was downloading your endiagram suite for latex but the compilation of any
example given in your manual fails due to always the same error:
[cce]”(/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/pgf/frontendlayer/tikz/libraries/tikzlibrarycalc.
code.tex)
! Undefined control sequence.
\fp_new:N
\l_tmpa_fp
l.96 …ist:NF \l_tmpa_fp { \fp_new:N \l_tmpa_fp }”[/cce]
Do you have any idea what is going on here?
Many thanks
Patrick
This message means that your TeX distribution is outdated. Particularly your version of the l3kernel must be too old.
